The D2X Has been in use for 2 years now and was considered replaced by the upgraded version D2XS in
only 14 months giving what seems to be a very short life to the D2X. With the PMA 2007 Countdown being
11 days away as of this writing (March 8-11, 2007, Las Vegas, Nevada), many are expecting Nikon to
introduce a new Flagship digital body to replace or compliment the D2XS. With that said, I will once again
say that you can find a wealth of web sites with lengthy reviews and data. My D2X images are from the
latest assignment I did in frigid weather and as expected the D2X never failed with the battery lasting 8 to
10 hours with juice to spare. The longest day was 18 hours with 23% still left on the battery meter.
